Dear Gooden family. So so very sad to hear of the passing of our dear friend Mr Dempsey. I never saw him in a bad mood, always friendly and courteous when he came into the State Farm office to pay his insurance. Will miss that sweet smile. Danny Ross State Farm and staff.

Gooden family,
I was heart-broken to hear of Mr. Dempsey passing. He was one of the kindest souls I've ever known. I was so grateful that he let me pick up pears in his yard. I will miss the conversations we had and the advice he shared under the old pear tree. I hope the Lord gives the family some comfort over the holidays as I know this will be a tough time.
