Dear Family, I was saddened to hear this wonderful man of God, Transition to Heaven. So happy for him but we lost a treasure in humanity! I have so many memories dating back to the late 60’s when I came to live in Savannah! We are praying for you all as you navigate life without this gentle giant. CONDOLENCES to you all! We did not know Mr. Wilkerson personally, however the wonderful stories we were told by Michelle made it apparent that the people who did know him were truly blessed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Michelle and her family during this time of grieving.

I am blessed to have known George! I loved his wisdom corner on Facebook I loved him and Maxine whenever we came to Douglas. He always had a smile. He loved talking about his children, grandchildren and the rest of the children. He w He bragged about their accomplishments. He really loved his wife. We would always meet at a restaurant with the family. Wow did he love his family!! I will always remember cousin George!!!
